DwK
I am going to be upgrading a pair of old Fisher STV-873's. 3 way Floor standing. With 10 inch woofers. I wanna take the 2 10 inch woofers and make a box for them and use it has a subwoofer. Now, I was wondering if it would hurt the speakers to be across from each other. I know thats how they are on the Pro Media 4.1's sub... but I'm not sure if Klipsch did something special to them. I wann have a sub _______ here >/ /< and here _____ ------------------ K6-2 450 SB Live Value ( not 5.1) Klipsch Pro Media v2 400 ( soon to be 4.1 ) 2 Fisher STV-873's on front channel 2 Fisher surrounds on rear channel
kenratboy
I dont know about that particular arrangement. As a guess (yeah, pretty worthless) it wouldnt make a difference if they were both going. If you reversed the phase on one (in an acoustic suspension design) it would just cancel the other out. Look at this NHT sub (picture from crutchfield.com) it has two active 10 drivers in a sealed box.
