robforst1
I picked up the K-Horns on Monday. They are awesome! Built the flase corners today...wow! Followed the directions from the dope from hope. I could not believe what a difference they made. I thought they sounded awesome before. K-Horns are awesome!!! 3dzapper
Rob, Nice job! And you didn't think they'd make a big difference huh? There's nothing like that low, tight bass is there? Rick
steve
Rob that's great to hear! Guess I better get the circular saw warmed up! Steve
Parrot
Rob, Glad you like the false corners. How are you going to finish them? Paint, stain?
robforst1
Steve, Do you have yours in 'real' corners? Rob
robforst1
Paul, I am going to stain them. I bought 'nice' plywood (if you can see in the picture). They corners should look almost as nice as the K-Horns (but not sound as good)! Rob
Daddy Dee
Yep, the difference in sound is nothing short of amazing. After listening to direct radiating woofers for so many years and not knowing there was better, it is still surprising that it would make so much difference. IndyKlipschFan
in propper corners..they will just fill the room as designed....Congrats....
steve
Rob.. unfortunately, I have a small concrete footing protruding on the left wall, and a heater duct (hot water tube) on the right wall..I'm thinking I can build half a false corner on either side to cover both obstacles, making the speaker seat in the corner..
