Deal on RF-7?

HELP! I need to move fast! I have found a pair of black, new in the box RF-7's at a dealer going out of business, asking price is $1350. I WILL get them out the door for $1300! I assume this is a good buy? I now have Fortes with a Cayin tube integrated. I wanted to move up the Heritage line to either Corns or LaScala. How will the RF-7 compare to my current Fortes, Corns and LaS. Will I be totally abandoning the Heritage sound with the 7's. Is it just another tower speaker with the Klipsch name that is lost in that crowd. This is for 2-channel only, mostly jazz and light rock. Thanks a bunch.

I think you will be very pleased with them. All things being equal, you will get at or maybe higher price if you choose to sell them later if you do not like them.

It is a different sound, but the new upper end Reference speakers are amazing, not a heritage sound, but still amazing. (Meaning different, but fantastic in their own right..LOL)

Buy em! Those things sell retail for $2200 a pair at Good Guys. Even if you find a brick and mortar store discount its in the 20% off range and that's $1760. If you regret owning them, then sell them. I think you would regret missing the deal more.

The Klipsch lit calls them the Reference Series flagship loudspeaker

I'm thrilled with my RF-7's

Check out the website:

P.S. Be sure they have serial numbers so you know it's a legitimate deal.

You're a lucky man. I found a similar deal last year Cherry RF7s in the box for $1350, dealer in bankruptcy. I jumped on those, but like a fool, walked away from the cherry RC-7 for $490 in the box. Oh well, 5050. Go get them before someone else does. Do they have a cherry RC7. IF they do, let me know. I'll call and ask them to ship it!
