That will never change and is listed right in the documentation. Don't believe still ask Trey Cannon and he will confirm it for you.
Khorn
Many years ago I originally purchased La Scalas. It didn’t take very long to trade them in for Klipschorns. No comparison. I’ve been running them steadily in my main system for close to 50 years now and with my recent upgrade in driving electronics they perform substantially better than I ever hoped they could. Truly a “Lifelong” speaker system. So happy that I made that original choice so many years ago.

Schu
anytime someone says... 'requires' or 'needs' to be in the corner i just have to roll my eyes... The owners preference may be for the boundary layer reinforcement... or it may not. if you are searching for every last Hertz you can squeeze out of a mechanical device, then maybe a Corner is for you. OR You could build wings and take that device out of the corners and placement wherever you want OR Perhaps you could add a Subwoofer to fill in ANY losses experienced by displacing of the device from a boundary layer... there are many choices.
Daan
Interesting read.... I owned 4 sets la scalas and 2 sets Khorns over a 30 year life span. Khorns can not be compared to La Scala's, each having their own ( dis) advantages.... But my ecperience is that only Khorns grab you like a life performance can. Daan
Oh yeah, one more thing: go active with bi/ tri amping. It will bring out the full potential of your horns. It will take time and efford ( and money...) but you will never look back.

If you pull it out more, you will lose some bottom end extension. That wiggle room though, allows you to bring it out a bit from the corner to get better aiming if needed. Daan
Khorns with closed backs...defenately worth it .👍 Tighter low end and more freedom of placement : they sound VERY good, placed against a wall.... but placed in corners they still perform the best! Daan
Notice there is no corner on this side of the room: no problem for the cabs with closed backs.
hanksjim1
Daan...what are you running for drivers and crossover? Love the look.
Daan
Low; K33 Mid; JBL 2445J modified ,on 80cm horn Fc 200hz ( handmade by Heyder ,Germany) high; JBL 2404H modified Crossover: upgraded 1st. gen. Minidsp 2X4 Poweramps ( in case you wonder) ; Classé fifteen for the bassbins and Pass ACA for mid/ highs. The 2404H is hooked up parallel with the 2445J with 1,9uF , voicecoils in line with each other. Mid/ highs are 2.48 ms delayed from bassbins. With respect to Mr Klipsch: the bassbin of the Khorn still is a monument in audio history imo. Especially with the backs closed they outperform many modern designs. The Jubilee performs even slightly better but has a poor waf factor: even my wife said NO. The K400/401 with K55-v has been outperformed by many driver/horn combo's these days, as well as the stock tweeters.

nickyboy6100
That looks like a less than ideal setup. As far as speaker placement goes.
