Wallie
Well, i dont have a big system like you guys have. My dad doesn't like that, i only use my speakers for music, i never tested them on movie's. but i'll post my speakers soon. Wallie

Northshore
Here is a photo of the latest completion of my home theater project. I have carpeted the platform, moved the sofa into place, assembled the row of 3 theater chairs and painted the audio rack. Hopefully in another 2 weeks it will be complete with all of the audio/video gear.

bytor33
Very nice setup mikwebb, how do you like everything? We basically have the same system except the sub and the 2 RSX-5's you have. I have no room so I'm just sticking with 5.1 for right now. I should get my HK AVR 430 and SVS PB10-ISD sub the end of next week hopefully so I'll post a pic of it later when it's all set up and complete. IAmtnbikr
Nothing real special...the Denon AVR-2105 and DVD-1910 are hiding in the cabinet with the Pioneer PL-7 turntable/Shure cartridge....which I really need to replace!
IAmtnbikr
A view of the back of the living room. Kind of a compromise between what I wanted and the wife's wishes, lol. I have a pair of RB-15's on stands that are sometimes added in along the railing to move to 7.1 for movies when we want to...
IAmtnbikr
And lastly....this room is mainly used by our 5 1/2 yr old to watch TV and DVD's, and also is a backup place to watch in HD if desired. Just a cheapie little setup but we like the sound for the $ spent. Cheap combo DVD/VHS as well! The old Pioneer I bought back in about my first year of high school...and it still is going strong! In fact, I moved a pair of SB-1's out to the garage with another vintage Pioneer SX-750 I picked up for $25 through an ad in a local swap sheet paper. Makes building trannies go better with some nice tunes!
Zen Traveler
It's amazing what all you have done with your Home Theaters over these 20 pages!!!Let me add my "Library Theater" to the list. This picture was taken looking in towards the back. The table raises up & inward so we can eat dinner while watching a movie.
Zen Traveler
Here is the front of our theater with RF-7's and an RSW-12 on stands 3 in. off the ground--RC-7 sits on top of the Mitsubishi.
Zen Traveler
The view from here is looking down toward the back. The rear surround RS-7's have been replaced by RB-75's. The RS-7's are now sitting on top of the RF-3's which are raised 8 in. off the floor on stands.
Zen Traveler
Here are my RB-75 surround back speakers along with my RSW-15.
dr.bear
tkdamerica, very nice setup. Dang, so many reference speakers!!! I have the same mitsubishi TV as you. I thought about putting my RC-7 on top of it, but decided to put it in front of the TV on an 18" stand. Seems like you have to RC-7 and several components on top of your TV. Do you notice any bowing of the TV top?
Zen Traveler
dr. bear: Thank you for the kind comments. I was warned that putting my RC-7 on top of the TV would be OK, but putting other components may make the top bend. As you can see by my pictures I didn't have anywhere else to put the hardware so I chanced it. It's been close to 3 years and the top is holding out fine. jacksonbart
I included an updated picture, of the left and right main in the front. I have noticed they give a much better soundstage this way, my original pics are on page 15. Also added room treatment. Thanks
gcoker
Jacksonbart, love your set up and room. Is that a Samsung DLP? what size is it and more importantly how do you like it. I'm starting to think about putting my 40" Sony CRT in my bedroom and setting a 50" or so Samsung.
