sivadselim
i listen to 95% music and i think my rsw15 sounds great for music. you may be able to find one somewhere for that, but it's doubtful. an rsw12 would be an option.
InnovaZero
I agree, you should be able to find the RSW-12 within that price. Its a good sub with low distortion, spine-tingling slam (A trademark of RSW subs lol) and the ability to go low enough to watch some movies on. You could probably pick up a floor model RSW-15 but I wouldn't advise it, so the RSW-12 is more viable. The Plus SVS subs would be outstanding since you'd get great clarity plus the ability to sink way down into the subsonics for great HT. Any of the plus cylinders would work well but if you like boxes then the biggest bang for the buck would probably be the PB2+ for $1199 exactly. bsacco
rsw klipsch for punch....svs for depth...what about svs boxes?
pinipig523
boxes - i have the tube, but the box can be a little more musical according to one owner - atleast at extremely high volumes only.
CECAA850
I had those exact speakers at one time paired with an SVS sub. They blend perfectly. Box or tube subs are more a matter of personal asthetic (and weight) preference as they both perform very well. Carl
milton10
No one has mentioned Sunfire. I think that they are extremely musical.
