colterphoto1
those are pretty significant price differences $500 vs $6500, maybe one includes a velvet lined shipping crate??
sheltie dave
Two different sets, one in Virginia and the $$$ in California. The Virginia one looks like an auction that will not end on solid legal ground, IMO. The Audiogon look like the honest auction, which will cost an arm and a leg to get... mike stehr
I wouldn't go there, that's a big risk....... He's brand new on Ebay.
lynnm
That Ebay auction uses the same text and picture as the California seller has in his ad. Methinks I smell a Rat !
No Disc
It's obvious that the guy in Virginia copied the Audiogon Ad verbatim, the text reads exactly the same. Someone should send an email to those bidders... Well, I hate seeing this crap, so I sent an email to both the bidders. Ebay should be notified. Grrrr. coda
hopefully the eBay listing can be shut down, or left up to nab the seller.. From: eBay Customer Support Sent: Fri 6/25/2004 10:19 PM Subject: Thank You for Your Report (SafeHarbor) (KMM120848476V16358L0KM) Thank you for writing eBay's SafeHarbor Department about a current listing you would like us to investigate for fraudulent activity. Parrot
15W amps used with 89dB speakers and "there was plenty there." Somehow I doubt that.
Daddy Dee
I suspect that the Ebay seller will be off Ebay pretty soon now. Has the Audiogon seller received a heads up. I bet he/she would be torqued about this.

joshnich
Aside from the listing quirks, I have heard examples of those amps and they are spectacular. I have heard them on Avant-garde horns so I cannot respond to PPs assertion regarding the lack of power as they drove the horns to approriate volume.
