Tom Mobley
No, I didn't get it from Duracrest. I got samples from him but they are for current Klipsch products, not similar to the cloth on my '60 Khorns at all. I sort of accidentally ran across the exactly right cloth at AES in Tempe. (http://www.tubesandmore.com) It's sort of a dark oxblood color, matched my Khorns perfectly. Thanks even more for your compliments.

Tom Mobley
Thanks again guys. I've got some more pics I need to get up on the server, last shots of installing the HF drivers on the motorboard/grill and stuff. It really looks pretty good. I've had a few non-audio friends by and the were agog that I had built the thing myself. Tom
edwardre
Tom - absolutely stunning. Tremendous job. It's been a long haul, eh? The satisfaction of building then reaping the rewards of one's own work, year after year, cannot be overstated. I wish you many happy decades of listening bliss, and you have a prize to pass on to future generations as well. Bravo!!

homemadeheresy
Just came across your project. Very nice craftsmenship, my hat is off to you. Have been thinking of building another set of speakers. Would love to give the Belle a try, do you still have the dimensions handy? Here is my first speaker project: Homemade Heresys with a pair of k-22-e, k-52-ti, and k-77. Seperated by type E crossovers also added 12 inch passive radiators to the rears. Made from 3/4 inch Walnut. Any help with dimensions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks, Sam

HarleyMo
I too would be interested in the plans to make these beautiful speakers. I wish I had your talent, but I would love to give it a try. I searched for a thread from formica with the plans listed but couldnt find it. Might just be too old. Thanks btw, did you ever get all the components and the x-over ? how does it sound ? Tom Mobley
guys, see the other "build a Belle" thread, I bumped it to the top again. all the measurements are there. basically, read all of both of these, you should be ready to go. that is, if your eyes aren't totally glazed over. Tom Mobley
yeah, I got all the stuff between guys here and ebay. I built a third ALK crossover for it. it sounds great between the Khorns. I still owe Larry C. a K-33 on the deal.
formica
Here are the plans again... this time they are in pdf format. Anyone good with Acrobat writer settings? I'm using 4.0, but get very pixelated compression of the jpg objects... like the klipsch logo. What do I have incorrectly set? homemadeheresy
Formica, Thanks alot for the files with the sketchs and dimensions. With a little luck I may get to sawing up some lumber with a month. If so I'll post some pics of the progress. By the way wouldn't have any Jubilee or Khorns blueprints lying around, would ya???? Thanks again, Sam
