Are these Gray market Speakers?

Yes, they were probably sold by an internet site offering their own warranty service in place of Klipsch's. They remove the Klipsch serial number label and put their own on with a simple label maker. The worthless things aren't even on straight! That is, the labels are worthless, the speakers are probably fine.

" I wouldnt touch them"

Why is that?

Have you ever bought Klipsch Reference speakers of the web and compared them to speakers bought at a store?

I bought both my mains RF-3 thru the web, and got the rest of my speakers at 50% of at tweeter (due to the "new" RF-3II line with internal z-wiring coming out) and there is absolutely no difference.

It would be a steal for whoever gets those for a good price

they wont get the warranty, but the speakers are made robust.

But with all things, not every speaker is going to be perfect. Some speakers coming from Klipsch will be damaged. If you get one of those, depending on the place, you very well may be screwed. YMMV
