radiob Posted September 9, 2004 Share Posted September 9, 2004 I havent been able to log on to the forum since last thursday, I could access Klipch Main but no forum, was I suspended? m00n Posted September 9, 2004 Share Posted September 9, 2004 Were you trying to send a PM? If so, that may be your problem. Twice now since last night I've been locked. I was replying to a PM, hit send, locked up. That was one IP address gone to poop. This morning I remotly logged into work via VPN access and my laptop. Was able to get on the forum. Tried to reply to the PM again, POOF, there goes that IP address. Now locked out of the forum via 2 IP address. The only way I have access now is becaus I happen to have 2 IP addresses here at home. MORAL OF THE STORY? Be leary of using PM. I was told some time ago that there is a bug in the PM functionality of the forum application, sometimes it gets confused and thinks for what ever reason the PM is acting like a denial of service attack and blocks the IP.
