Brightness Gone

I liked my KLF 10's. But with my YAMAHA receiver they were bright. I recently upgraded to the CAL GAMMA, which gave it a smoother more detailed sound, but it was still bright. Then I found an adcom gtp 400 preamp and a GFA 545 mK II in the paper for $300 for both. The guy never used them, they were a gift. The person who bought them for him told him he had to have big speakers because it would blow them up. (POOR INFORMATION HIM = GOOD DEAL FOR ME). So now that I have the D/A converter and the new amp and preamp it has smoother treble, more detail, and warmer cleaner bass (that came mostly after the D/A). So overall I am alot happier with the way it sounds.

By the way does anyone know the what these retailed for.
