justin_tx_16 Posted July 30, 2001 Share Posted July 30, 2001 Well, after 7 months and I being proud to be the owner of the seemingly only owner of the v2.400 without the scratchy nobs, weak bass, hiss, and sound cutting out. Well my friends, it all hit me at once. My nobs scratch, my crossover in teh sats is making them bottom out, i hear a hiss and my amp is often taking my power down to protect the speakers i presume... I was so depressed when this happened... however, do not fret for me for i will be pounding again when i get my new 5.1's. Not surprising seeing how they're from the heritage regime. The ones with the disco mirrors would have been a lot of work but the end result would have been worth it. That year goes pretty fast. No hiss or bottoming out or even crackle yet, though. All I have is just a wierd problem with the mouse moving making one of the rear speakers make noise. justin_tx_16 Posted August 10, 2001 Author Share Posted August 10, 2001 well, all my problems went away in a week, guess my pros are geting worried about being given away! now i have no problems, teh crackling stopped, the sub does not even get remotely hot, nothing bottoms out, and my hiss and balance problems went away!... i am so happy, still getting teh 5.1's and AT though!
