Rdmarsiii
What all has the forum done for you? If it hadnt of been for this forum, what do you think you'd be doing right now? What all have you gotten from the forum? I'll start-- If it hadnt of been for the forum, I wouldn't have gotten my Heresy's from Dave. I wouldnt have gotten to hear Khorns powered by Dynaco Mark III's. I wouldnt know a lot of the stuff I do now. And most of all, I've met all you people! Thanks for everything you guys! edwinr
This forum has made me realise how much knowledge I don't have. It's also made me realise how much others know.

Then again I was in Tweeters last night (it is the closest thing to a high end shop we have ) and was talking to a quite informed salesman. We both had a good laugh at the Bose cubes and the bad quality that they have.
Daddy Dee
Well, I have learned alot more about audio than I ever knew. OK, that is not saying much, since I knew so very little. But I had always enjoyed sound. I showed up here and found folks who really do know their stuff and they are kind enough to talk REAL SLOW so non technical folks can pick up on things. It has been a genuine pleasure to get to know these folks and have had the privilege of meeting a few in person. Interesting enough, after running across an occasional internet "community"... never have thought that community was an appropriate description. With the Klipsch forum it is a proper description, in my experience.
colterphoto1
Agreed that the level of technical info and just plain good common sense is on a higher level 'round these parts. There is also just a good feeling of community with others who suffer from the same malady. Lets face it, we're audio addicts who just can't get enough of a good thing. Luckily, most on the Forum are gentlemen ( and ladies) about it and spend less time boasting about their own systems than they seem inclined to help the new guys or those with interesting questions about improving their sound systems. but yes, you've all cost me a lot of dough! Or a lot less in debt anyway. Most likely would have purchased something like bose. I know I'll get beat up for this, but I still contest that in the places I've heard Bose, Bose does sound good for what they are. At least in the places where I've heard them. Overpriced? YES! But they do sound good. Lots of good peeps with great info on this board.
Tom Adams
I've gotten: - A single Heresy from fini. - A pair of verticle horn Cornwalls from a forum member. - A pair of Heresys from a forum member. - Advice & knowledge whose priceless value more than offsets the money I've spent. - Some really good laughs. - To trade personal messages of good cheer, sympathies, friendship, and the occasional porn site. - Some personal satisfaction by contributing and possibly helping some others. - In trouble with my boss for visiting here too much. dodger
On a Speaker Basis, I've gained a Pair of Cornwalls. On a basis that no amount can be put to: Cyber Friends in Australia, Greece, many in the U.S.. Meeting GaryMD, Chris Robinson, Chris King, Josh Nichol in one form or another. A BBQ buddy, Wayne, God Bless Him Daddy Dee, Nicholtl, Mark Deneen and so many more. Hearing healings and feeling glad - about people not met, Things to laugh, cry, smile and learn. I guess the shrinking of the world through this little keyboard that reaches out to my Cyber Friends. The people at Klipsch. The people that teach me. People that can help turn a cynical chunk of flesh into a human through their caring. People than can show me how little I know, but have the patience to teach me. And as I did say before, a LOT of god people to call FRIENDS. dodger

jt1stcav
I'd have to say ditto to all the above. This forum has provided me with tons of knowledge, information, and new friends with a common interest. I wouldn't own any of my vacuum tube components I have today if it wasn't for this forum and all the help I received from all these Klipsch-lovin' bottlehead fanatics these past several years. It's gratifiying to know there are many others here who truely care about one another and sometimes go way above and beyond the call of duty to help those Klipschans in need. All I can say is I'm damn proud to be part of this great community of horn lovers, and I hope our "family" continues to grow and prosper. Invidiosulus
Reading the forum convinced me to get my first pair of Heresy's. I loved the sound. Then because of reading this forum I got the urge to modify my speakers. So I front mounted the tweeters and dampened the horns and doubled the thickness of the back. The sound only got better and I think it's got a long way to go but I love it. Peace, Josh
Marvel
And then Invidiosulus bought me a set of Heresys for Christmas. Ya just have to raise 'em right. Marvel
