FYI, I used to know the general manager of the Ultimat Electronics here in town and he could discount as much as 50% off of retail. I bought KLF-30 for $1000 when they were retailing for $2,000. After getting your RF-7's, enjoy them for a while. After getting used to them, you may want to look into having your crossovers upgraded. DeanG is the one to seek out for that. You also may want to explore a small vintage tube amp for 2 channel listening. See NOS Valves for that. The RF-7's (as well as all horn speakers) can sound harsh or fatiguing with the wrong amp. Make sure you look into that first. I have heard that Harman Kardon and Outlaw are both good solid state for use with horns. If you are setting up a home theater, look into these. I seem to recall a similar set of circumstances before... Is Ms. Mason actually a woman, is that actually her picture and does she actually "need a guy who can build like that"? She is sounding too good to be true with her love of audio and ability to talk the talk about audio and equipment. If she enjoys football too, I may need to go to match.com and search her out. I'm not a football fan. Sorry!! I've tried in the past but it's not for me, I just couldn't get into it. I do love audio though. I used to play music for hours in my bedroom growing up back home on a simple little record player. I used to get into my parents old records and listen to all of them to see what they sound like. I think that's why I love some of the old past music/artist too! Ok, I now have the RF-7 playing at home right now for some break-in while I'm here at work so I can listen more when I get home. Hmmm, maybe this is why I have a hard time getting some bargins with sales-woman! Hmmm, just a thought but I loved a dress that I wanted and the lady was asking too much and rudely snapped at me and told me it was worth every penny for the asking price and that I greatly insulted her asking for a discount.
