StevieRayDude
i figured i could use y splitters and set up four spekares in the front, and 4 spakers in the back, with a sub in the back and front so i get full bass all around. would this work? Dan F
Yes it would. It may make the precision of the positional image less precise, though, as the speakers will tend to compete with each other as to which one is putting out the apparent source image. On the other hand, the system would certainly impress folks with its power. -djf ------------------ Klipsch ProMedia Customer Service # is 1-888-554-5665
VIV
Nah, what's the point? For the same price as 2 4.1's, you could seek out a better solution, hell, even the 5.1's would probably be a better buy.

justin_tx_16
ok so this room is 4800 square feet? what is this? that is the size of my whole house INCLUDING the garage. is this like a warehouse or what? no promedia system would power a whole room, you would need some speakesr for larger rooms from klipsch like the synergy series. promedias would do good if you are using the sound in say a 20x20 area inside a 60x80 but even then it might echo. please explain this room. ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, but if it is professional help you want contact Amy. VIV
LOL! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH! You supposedly live in a house that has a room this big and all you can afford is multimedia speakers?!?! LOL! Me thinks you need to use a tape measure there tho. If your room IS massive tho, don't bother with ANY multimedia speakers. Hell, if you had a room that was 60x80', MY computer setup (bookshelf speakers...) would barely be able to provide a sufficient volume level for something like that! asudhir
Hell, if I could afford a room of that size, I would just shell out the money for a full-blown Klipsch HT system...
StevieRayDude
/me is exagerting duuuuuuude exagerating jeez man if the room was that big i'd have some kick *** speakers, not dinky little promedias
justin_tx_16
well, if you want help, i would not exaggerate the specs cause in this case you really raelly over did it. this is not meant to be a flame in any way but please be more true if you want to get help. what is the exact or near exact size of the room, like a 2 foot difference in the real size is ok, but not 20 feet LoL! ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, but if it is professional help you want contact Amy. fzzytddybr1
Hell, with just speakers!!!! Get some KPT-MCM-4-TGRANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
MD1032
A better solution would be to get an M-audio rev and then get a PM5.1-Ultra and a PM2.1. There's a 7.2 system!
007
you mean 8.2, or are you going to throw out the second sub. this system might sound very bad, I set up the 5.1's with the 2.1's for 7.2 and sounded ok, but each system sounded better alone, just not as loud. pHEnomIC69
Do they seriously go up to 8 channels yet? Its gonna be crazy when we get like 20 separate channels of audio hehe.
jackson_ngo
whats the point of having 20 channels? And there are also no amp on the market that supports 20 channels and i think it will never happens

i luv bass
logitechs have neva been very popular on this board have they.... i seriously dont get why most people have such a big gruge against them, yeh sure there not for everyone like all speakers, but they are far from bad in my opineon, no its not just because i own them. I use to own the pm 2.1 they had there strengs and weaknesses over the z-560.
pinipig523
logitechs are ok - but they dont have the klipsch sound that a lot of people like - so thats why its not popular on this site. also, its a klipsch site, not a logitech site. on a logitech site, i bet no one like klipsch - its kind of like a club-thing.
