Switchblade
sorry to say that the ones u bought are obsolete and discontinued, so is the Cp-1 amp... http://www.klipsch.com/store/product.asp?dept%5Fid=1&pf%5Fid=019 thats what we have all been waiting for
Dman155
First of all, the CP-1 is not obsolete, the new 4.1's are going to use it. Second, the effects of the changed crossovers are minimal, and only the pickiest people have/will notice a difference. There's nothing obsolete about the V.2-400's. I bet you could still order them w/free overnight at outpost. As to how the CP-1 sounds, I think it's supposed to be quieter (less hiss) then the previous 2 preamps, but reports from people on this site have been mixed. Hipnotic_Tranz
I thought I remeber asking this before but I don't remember if I got an answer. Has the hissy/scratchy noise when you turn up/down the pros been solved with the new 4.1 setup? or new CP-1 preamp? TIA.
smokejag
geez whats with that rude post about how my speakers are outdated? so they are making another model, these sound great. All I wanted to know is whether or not the CP-1 did anything to help the sound and make it even better.

Paragon
ya.. the v.2-400 will never be obselete because they will still be Pros 5 years from now - able to blast the shorts off ya and give you good audio experience. As for the CP-1, try here for 1 review by Sputnik: "Note that this is my opinion only...any other opinions are the sole property of their respective opinionators. sfuller
Um...in my case, I got mine for $100 so I jumped on them instead of waiting for the new ones. ------------------ Steve Fuller sfuller@fuller.des-moines.ia.us
