The closest thing to live I've ever heard from speakers. My Martin Logan CLS electrostats come close but can't equal the sound from the big 511B horn in the A7's. The signal flows thru the system as follows: The CDs are spun and converted with a Mark Levinson #39 Signals go to the Rane Mojo 2way active x-over which splits them at 500hz Above 500 goes to the Deware monos hooked directly to the Altec 511/902 combo...WOW factor of 10 Below 500 goes to the BagEnd Elf-M integrator that divides it again at @90 hz,above 90 to the Bryston 3B pro and on to the Scala bass woofers,below 90 goes to a Bryston 4B pro and on to the 2 BagEnd 18's. system level control is with the Levinson's awsome volume control. I also have level controls on the Rane for high and low pass,the Brystons have input level control as well. Dont mess with them now that they are set. This system is unreal,it doesnt just play loud itis incredible at all levels. The crazy part of this is I listen at lower levels than I have ever in my life,it is that good...oh I stand on the system from time to time and WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
