johnnyli Posted February 8, 2001 Share Posted February 8, 2001 Just beginning with my system: Denon 3801 SB-3 fronts SC-1 Center I ordered the SS-1s for my rears in white. However, my dealer is having problems getting them. Has a number of them backordered and no idea when he can get more. He offered me the RS-3s for $100 more. I don't really know if there are matching problems with Rears like you have between fronts and center. Wanted to know what your opinions were on using RS-3s with my Fronts and Center? bboucher Posted February 8, 2001 Share Posted February 8, 2001 There will a little bit of a tonal difference, but you're right it's not as important matching surrounds like it is in the front. The RS-3s might overpower your fronts a little, but you should be able to adjust the rear levels to fix that. If there's no way for you get the SS-1s I dont see any problem with getting the RS-3s.
