Seb Posted February 9, 2001 Share Posted February 9, 2001 not much more, distec. recall that the one driver in the 2.1 has the whole box of air to move; therefore, it is more efficient, it is used to its full potential. the two drivers in the 4.1 or v2.400 have to share the same box, they are less efficient. but the 4.1 will definitely have a little more output. to the best of my knowledge, the 2.1 also has the compression circuit. besides, the circuit is not all bad, it gives you good distortion free bass all the time and it prevents you to harm the sub.
