jbsl Posted July 22, 2005 Share Posted July 22, 2005 Could you take 2 Merlin tube preamps and use one Merlin for the center channel in SACD or DVD audio? I have not seen a 3 or 5 channel tube preamp on the market. Probably not worth trying since I don't think these format will last. Then run one pre out to the amp to the center speaker. I cannot think of any reason this would not work but I might be forgeting something technical.
