HI everone need advice

Hi everyone

I have just finished purchasing speakers.. and i need a little advice on a reciever

I'm running 2- RSX5's

2- RSX4's

1- RCX4

1- RW-12

After asking here on the forum i was told to go with te panasonic X70 reciever

But then i asked at another forum (with a bit more of an increased budget ) and i was told to go with a

PIONEER VSX-815-K (about 400) http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4153_209695979,00.html Or a

PIONEER VSX-1015TX (about $400)http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4153_209686388,00.html

so my question if there is anything better out there in the $400 range (no more)

and if there isnt should i go with the panasonic or the pioneer

This system will be used in a 12 x 12 room

for 75% music and 25% movies

it will be connected via digital out from the computer

If you want to save space Onkyo TX-LR552 6.1 should do it. Its running for $399 at circuitcity. Try and test out different receivers like harmon/kardon, onkyo, sony etc for under 399.

I would also recommend the Panasonic XR-70. I have heard one. It's a good unit ("digital amp") that has sound well beyond what its price and name would suggest.

Go with the Pioneer VSX-1014.

There is virtually no difference between the 1014 and 1015 (model year 2004 and 2005 respectively) and most likely $100 less expensive.

It is a great unit.

I'd go with the Pioneer. You will be quite happy with it. Good Luck!
