Mighty Favog
Anyway: "Do you wipe pee in the closet?" = "Do you like pina coladas?" "Escape" from Rupert Holmes (sorry, I have the LP on vinyl). A good friend of mine was an expert at mangling lyrics on purpose......none of which can be posted an still stay within the realm of decency. Jeff Matthews
"I'm back again to share with you my heart and soul." Name that Tune! This is the current challenge. Nobody's figured it out, yet?
sputnik
I only got Jeffs tune by Googling but I won't tell since I disqualified myself for tossing out a curve ball. Tom, I admire you for admitting ownership of that LP - it takes a big man to do that.
Jeff Matthews
Sputnik, Googling's fair game. There's no way cheating could be regulated. It seems the real challenge is to find some lyrics that do not show up on internet searches. Go ahead and answer.
Jeff Matthews
If it wasn't for all the lyrics all over the net, this would be a fun game. Think folks would follow the rules if word searches were disallowed? I doubt it. I've picked some of the most obscure lyrics - only to have found them on the net. Like "Hurry now, we must protect ourselves and find some shelter." This would be Genesis "Return of the Giant Hogweed." How obscure a song can you get? I am surprised this stuff is on the net. audiobliss69
Well, I'd at least try to keep from using searches if you banned them. Though I can tell you now that I'd never figure any of them out. The only ones I've heard of so far...have been the ones I've aske about! lol Try it and see how it goes. Jeff Matthews
Okay, let's kill this thread. I'll start a new one with instructions not to Google. Let's see if it doesn't get detsroyed by cheaters.
audiobliss69
Since I'm no good at this if you can't cheat...and thus I won't ever be able to get in on the other one...lol... I'm sure you'll get this one quickly...should be easy... "I was born with a ragin' thirst, A hunger to be free" Name that tune!!
