audiobliss69
Aww, man. I go away for a day and someone puts up an Eric Clapton song! LOL That's the only one in this thread so far I've even heard.
Jeff Matthews
Hey Audiobliss! Good to see you're back. It's Friday, and looks like Texas Ron is out on the town. He can't leave us stumped like that for this long. I'm posting a new one. I'm sure he'll understand. He can stump us on this one later. Next: "Did you have any bad dreams, did you break any glass? Would you be my companion, is there even a chance? You've been talking in circles, since I've been able to cry. There's never been any reason, for ever telling me why, yea, yea." Name that Tune! Jeff Matthews
Okay, I did not think anyone would need a hint. This tune is a widely-played tune, so much so that it was in the Billboard Top 100 years ago. To this day, it still receives radio-time for all you classic rockers to enjoy it. I always thought it had a different name. Well, I was wrong. Therefore, the lyrics I gave actually contain the name..... oops! Name that Tune! audiobliss69
Would it be "Never Been Any Reason"?
audiobliss69
I assume it is, so the new challenge is.... "When I pressed her for a reason, She refused to even answer" I have a feeling this one may be difficult...or at least so I hope... Name that tune!! Jeff Matthews
Audiobliss, you were correct. It was "Never Been Any Reason" by Head East (good tune[]). I have no idea what yours is..... yet!
audiobliss69
I believe it's time for a hint. More lyrics: "When I pressed her for a reason, She refused to even answer Though you drown in good intentions, You will never quench the fire" Name that tune!! theryugobuddy
Hi 69-- You got any good clues? I've heard it, but it escapes me-- a strong hint would be nice--

sputnik
I believe it's time for a hint. More lyrics: "When I pressed her for a reason, She refused to even answer Though you drown in good intentions, You will never quench the fire" Name that tune!! Billy Joel - Stranger. I had a girlfriend back when that liked Billy Joel and had that album.
sputnik
Try this one: "Girls think I'm snotty, and maybe it's true, but with my hair and body, you would be too"
audiobliss69
Needless to say, you are correct, sputnik. And I have no clue what your challenge is.
Jeff Matthews
Morning all! How 'bout a hint, Sputnik?
sputnik
Try this one: "Girls think I'm snotty, and maybe it's true, but with my hair and body, you would be too" Here's more of this great song: "I took an IQ test and I flunked, of course. I can't spell VW but I got a Porsche."
sputnik
Somebody must know this, here's more: "I know lot's of people are smarter than me but I have this philosophy - 'so what'" I'll add more: "I see people working and it just makes me giggle 'cause I don't have have to work, I just have to jiggle"
sputnik
Here's another line and a hint: "I never learned to read and I never learned to cook. Why should I bother when I look like I look?" It's not obscure - the album came out in 1985 and the song was featured in a 1989 film starring Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum and Jim Carrey.
