whamo
Cool, This one should be easy. "Been caught stealing once when I was five. I enjoy stealing it's just as simple as that".

When does the elusive nature of allegory transform ingenious poetry into glue-sniffing? I'm voting on Primus because I know Meagain is always pushing it. oldtimer
Meagain forgets that this thread is about "classic rock" so us old farts can play. Instead she posts a challenge that my 19 year old would probably get. ______________________________________________ The California sun has sunk behind the Anaheim hills here comes the night I was high on junk, but the beach sand is warm and I'm feeling alright
meagain
Sorry - I just couldn't bear something 'Hotel California-ish'. It's from 1984 which is over 20 years ago. And in the same progressive vibe as the above recent postings. Dubbed the biggest cult band at the time. BTW - I never got into ELP and would take old Genesis over them in a heartbeat. Though I like Trick of the Tail with Phil.
theryugobuddy
Wow -- I looked it up -- its from the post-classic rock era, but this is one of those "Gee, let's find one of the most obscure songs on an album that few have heard and post it so I can feel smart" kind of challenges-- LOLwink. Kudos for the prog, though. I highly doubt your 19 year old has ever even seen the name of this band.
meagain
No! That was one of their big songs! Not obscure. Neither is the band. Oh sure! But it's ok to post lyrics from Yes's 'Gates'? LOL Ok. No fans of this band here huh? Shame.

If you are talking about Fugazi, then he not only has seen the name, but worn it on a jacket, and listened to the music. Or did I miss something? oldtimer
And yes, "gates of delirium" fits the bill for this thread. After all, 'buddy got it right away. At any rate, give it time Meagain, I bet someone will know it.
meagain
I would have gotten gates instantly had I been here. OK - Forget my band. I figured you guys here would be familiar with them. I'm very surprised! Feel free to move on.
oldtimer
Now now. It doesn't work that way. Plus, most of us had have challenges that last for days. It just takes the right person to check in and know it. After a while, feel free to drop hints.
meagain
Screw it... It's Marillion's 'Fugazi'. Geez... even when I recently saw Porcupine Tree - people in line were talking about them. There are 2 Marillions. One with Fish and one without. Fish: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fish_%28singer%29 Marillion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marillion Booohoo you guys. Carry on.
