rplace
Based on the hint I am guessing Kansas is the band. Point of no Return was a ships sailing off sort of song...I'm off to check. Bzzzzz, wrong! Do I have the band right? Note the Kansas tile it actually "Know" Return not "no" Return. Shows how much I like Kansas
Jeff Matthews
I knew the yellow brick road would take you there. Now, get the song. The hint should have narrowed your choices dramatically. Once you get it, I encourage you to listen to it, if you don't remember it. It really is one of their better songs. Lots of good jam. colterphoto1
Back on the double dip Doors number, I was actually looking for the subtitle of that portion of the Celebration of the Lizard Kind- My lyric was from a section called 'Not to Touch the Earth'. There are like 5 themes that run through the Lizard medley. Carry On though. M
Jeff Matthews
Okay, it was "Song for America" by Kansas - great tune, but admittedly, a little obscure. I gotta run; somebody else post a challenge.

Bill Cain
When I feel low My amps they blow When I feel blue "I Need You" by Billy Squier. You put your right hand out give a firm hand-shake. Talk to me about that one big break. Name That Tune!
rplace
The Stroke - Billy Squire...man I hated that song.[] And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
Olorin
Pink Floyd, "Wish You Were Here." Had to take off my headphones and interrupt BBC radio's Eno broadcast so my memory could play the Floyd tune. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/performanceon3/pip/uj3e5/ You better run all day and run all night and keep your guilty feelings deep inside
rplace
Run like Hell - Pink Floyd O, Nice score on WYWH. I tried to pick a more obscure line and not give too much away. Lost soles/fish bowl would have been a gimmie. Have not seen you around much how you been? Getting some top down action in the Z? I know always out there. Having a good time this sping with mine. There is no pain, you are receding
Olorin
Comfortably Numb, also from Pink Floyd's "The Wall." I've been getting some drive time with the Z, but not a whole lot. Just enough to make me want one of my own . . . this one is definitely "her" car. Yeah, I haven't been around here as much. I came to the realization that my home theater is done, so there isn't a whole lot for me to do there, and I won't be buying tubes or a turntable any time soon, and I've answered "What center channel for some Fortes?" about forty times now, so it's well-archived and there is little value in rep number forty-one. Basically, I've gone as far with this hobby as I'm going to in its current iteration, so there isn't much left for me to learn about it and there isn't much left for me to add to what I've already said about it. So, I spend most of my time over at ih8mud.com now. I've had a Land Cruiser for about three years now and in the last six months or so I've gotten really into working on it and being my own mechanic. I'm also planning some camping trips for the summer with it, some mods to make getting away from civilization safer and more fun, and just generally geeking around. Just like I did with computers and aquariums and audio, but now with a car. Usual stuff. Jump to the ground as the turbo slows to cross the borderline Run like the wind as excitement shivers up and down my spine
Fish
PFloyd -Comfortably Numb. Your lost inside your houses There's no time to find you now While your walls are burning And your towers are turning.
rplace
Comfortably Numb, also from Pink Floyd's "The Wall." First - Fish, I think Olorin got you on that one...I'm sure he does not mind B - I have noticed you giving the Forte/Academy/Heresy speech over and over. You should have it memorized by now. Our Z is for sure a "hers" model too - funny they all seem to come with that standard I would pay extra for the "mine" option. Lately I have been taking it on Mondays and Fridays because she has the killer schedule of working only T/W/Th. I say it is because of the expensive gas prices these days...yea that it...gas prices. Going from the 2.5 to 3.0 litre made a huge difference in speed, this one is almost scary fast. I got pulled over for 30 MPH over the limit and did not get a ticket. I still can't believe I got out of that one. You need a new money pit in the audio world. Why no turntable and tubes? If you thought HT had some geekey tendencies; oh my. This is just a silly, expensive way to listen to music...but it sounds so good. I need my head checked. You can start by buying my TT so I have an excuse to buy a new one. Good luck with the Land Cruiser, cool vehicle I like em a lot!
Olorin
LOL, you know, I'd love to have a table and some tubes, but my house is flat out of rooms. The next house will probably be somewhere besides California, so that means a finished basement is likely. I'll get tubes then. 30 over? The cop must have REALLY liked your car. My neighbor is a Highway Patrolman, and he says he once pulled a guy over going 130+ in one of the new, fast Mercedes coupes. The story he tells is that he gave the guy a good scare with impound threats and the like, and then let him go, saying if he had an $80,000 car he'd be doing the same thing. [] Speaking of gas prices, once I have no more car payments an old Mercedes 300D or TD may be in my future. 30 mpg in a car that routinely goes 400,000 miles before major repairs is looking pretty appealing. I almost sold the Cruiser just because of the mileage, but it does so many other things so well that I just couldn't let it go for what anyone was willing to pay for it. I'm kind of glad to hear that mine's not the only house where SWMBO doesn't let the Z out of her grips. At least I'm not alone. []
