D-MAN
Yup, that's it. The ORIS horn thing. Saw another one: what is this: Referred to as an "ATS bass corner horn". DM
D-MAN
Another "ATS bass horn" pic. Must be European? Guessing by the nail pattern on the front panel, its most likely an asymetrical design?
TBrennan
A friend used this Oris setup with Supravox field-coil drivers, augmented on the bottom by JBL Pro 4648s and on top by Fostex tweets. Eventually he decided the Supravoxes sounded better as direct radiators mounted in open baffles. Now the Orises (Orii?) are sitting unused in another fella's basement. The setup did sound very good of course, the Supravoxes sound good with horns or as DRs. Providing they're helped a little on both ends. TBrennan
This wild 3-way dipolar tractrix EV rig belongs to another friend. The tractrix horns are made of foamcore and the crossover is a series type. Very impressive, like a Magneplanar with huge cojones.
wuzzzer
How about these interesting speakers on craigslist Mpls? http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/msg/107216580.html
djn
The first post in this thread where there is a wood horn with a BR woofer on top and bottom. The guy who owned them just posted a post in the Audio Asylum that there are free for the taking without drivers. They went in about ten minutes. Cheers. jt1stcav
All I remember is this is a DIYer from Germany who built these mini-La Scala type horns, and used a Klipschorn bass bin for a subwoofer.

jt1stcav
And then there was Grandpa Turd Furgeson from Altoona, PA who in 1956 obtained the very first stereophonic hi-fi system in town...during the summer months when his windows were open, the polkas played through his horn-loaded stereo would attract all the neighborhood children, and the local police![:S]
