A question for you band or pro speaker guys

I have just purchased a pair of beat up LaScalas I plan to use as my PA

speakers for our band. We have a studio built in our house.

I have been trying to find a tube mixer ether powered or not

powered. We only need 4 imputs, 3 for mics and one stereo, so 4

channels or so into 2 so to speak. So a couple of questions if I

may? First do you guys know of any good tube mixers powered or

not? Secondly if I can't find a good tube mixer what is the best

SS mixer for LaScalas? Perhaps a digital one? All thoughts

are GREATLY appreciated. All the best, Guy

I've toured with many sets of beaten up La Scala systems or "scallywags" as we call them. Forget the tubes for your PA bro. They are good in your guitar amp. Get a Crown amp and make sure that your LS speakers are in good condition. Drive your amp with an Allen & Heath mixer assuming that a Midas console is out of your reach. Nirvana found!
