colterphoto1
well it would be handy especially when trying to find members to inspect or pick up used speakers for Forum Members. On my last go, I used the member list and scrolled through it to find anyone who lived in Mississippi. If we're to convoy anything across country, we've got to get more members in Middle America though. Anybody in Kansas or Nebraska? colterphoto1
question, is Greenland really bigger than South America? Wot's with this map, my mind is being blown?
DrWho
Seems I'm on there twice now? How do you go about changing your location (without signing in). We'll also have to start arranging get togethers with people in the same region, or at the very least arrange car pooling for trips to the various pilgrimages. I also like the idea of a klipsch caravan for the transportation of speakers across the country. It'd be an excuse to hang out with guys in the vincinity and also a way to try out new stuff (make that the only condition of using the free service). I know we could get a chain from indy up through illinois and wisconsin and over to minnesota. I know we have a few members in south dakota, but we'd probably want a few more considering how wide the state is. I know we have some members in colorado and from then on it's pretty much a straight shot to the west coast. Going the other direction we've got lots of guys between indy and new york and then you can probably go down the east coast to get to florida (where all the sweet deals seem to come from). colterphoto1
well Who, SOMEBODY had to be the first one with multiple locations. It had to be our globe-trotting (well Illinois-trotting) jet setter of a college student. LOL I'm on several of these and never figured out how to move or even delete a marker once it's put in place. There seems to be no limit to times you can pinpoint your location though. And why no maps of Greece? On the Googlearth one, I can see my house! Jay481985
question, is Greenland really bigger than South America? Wot's with this map, my mind is being blown? defintely a mercanter(sp) map it is trying to make a globe (earth) into a flat map the ends tend to get elongated meaning the farther you are away from the equator, the more the map is distorted. Don't worry I used to until high school believe greenland was the biggest island lol National geographic uses the map with the curved ends which are more exact but the best is still a globe. That brings the perspective back into place, right?

DrWho
With the occasional 'lost weekend' at Club Colter LOL lol speaking of which, I still have to do that writeup of the last visit. Good thing you wrote down a list (which is in the car...probably buried by now). It's finals week this week and I'm trying to ween myself off the forums to go study...I can't believe that after 3 years of college this is my first year where my classes actually have finals! (and all of them have finals! ahhhhhh)
