laurenc319
Actually, after a divorce, I think they are invisable. They go --POOF--- and you can't see them anymore. Larry

JohnWhite
I waited till after the divorce to go on my speaker hunt.
Vahorns
I also waited until after the divorce (15 years ago) to get Klipsched! Actually...I EVEN waited until after the long term relationship of 5 years! Now though..5 Cornwalls in the house! And no one tells me to turn it down! Just keep in mind...things DO get better after these tragic events...After all, you are then free to get Klipsched! And you don't have to ask permission! rockbobmel
First, she wants to "find herself" and asks you to understand. You do. You move.--Haltingly. Second, you get a notice from the sheriff's office at your one room château. It says stay away, I hate you, you can't see the kids. You must call to talk to them. Third, you call to talk to the kids, and Bub answers. WHA, WHA, WHAT!!! He sounds like a prick and you don't want him around your kids, especially this early. Fourth, you get the "D" notice and her lawyer wants 2/3's of you pay, the house (you keep paying the mortgage), medical, school and other supplies for the kids. You can keep the VW rabbit with the upside down loan payments. Last,,,, You drive by to see if your kids are around, lonely for them. They are not home, but you glimpse through the breezeway and see your K-Horns on the stoop with tags on them for this Saturday's tag sale with your skis and boots on top. You can't / dare not go there cause the 209-A paper says you will do a year in the hooshcow if you near. Maybe cousin Bill can get them for you.??........etc, etc, etc.......... Dark, but oh, so many truths...............
jt1stcav
After reading this thread, maybe I'm glad that I never got married afterall...wow!
funkyhambone
actually, this thread had nothing to do with a "real divorce". i got scolded for my pics being too large, so i removed the pic, but i will put it back to shed some light. i have never been married and the turn that this thread took makes me feel good with my decision. Chicago_Pete
Hey Bob, I couldnt imagine going through that and if it happened to me there wouldnt even be kids involved. Just the thought of some strange ranger living in the house that I paid for, would surely drive me postal. Well written post, not fair somehow.
