You could always try,make sure the RSW12 woofer is in perfect condition not to cause damage to the RW12 amp.I doubt it will give you any real gain in output,as the RW12 woofer is optimised for the cabinet volue/porting/amp. You could get a better result but I would not be totally surprised if you found out the RW12 woofer works better in this case that the costlier RSW12 woofer. DrWho Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 The RW-12 has the same cutoff and cabinet size....the driver and amp is just less capable. If the RSW-12 fit into the RW-12 cabinet, then I see no reason why an improvement wouldn't be achieved. At the very least you should give it a try to find out for sure.
