Wuzzzer:

Well, with the $1500 plus the sale of your RF-3II and RC-3II you could get a pair of RF-7s and an RC-7 plus have money left over for a new amp/receiver if you wanted

Does make you think, How much can you get for the whole lot ? than add $1500, NOw what can we get ?

NO just keep saying ,I am happy ,I am happy ,I am happy..........................

get a couple good BJs from some local talent, it will shift your focus off your system.

BTW I know tax season is over for 2005, but if you get a receipt, don't quote me on this but I believe you can write it off as a charitable contribution, medical expense, home improvement or the like. So while not as tax friendly as opening an IRA (perhaps a ROTH is a better idea) its a heck of a lot more fun. In general, speakers will do the most to change your sound. That said if your unhappy with your current receiver buying a better will be nice staged approach to a better system, but typically its changing the speakers that has the biggest impact on sound, assuing every thing you have is functioning properly. The local talent can probably confirm that all your equipment is fully functional.

That was my thought too.The most important thing is the best speakers you can afford. Then the 1604 has gotta go.

That said the 3's are good and if you're happy with em' get a good avr

or prepro/amp,then a decent dvd player with good cd playback.

Since your speakers don't suck, I'd upgrade the sub and the reciever, the two weakest points. You should be able to get some decent $$ for your RW-12 and a bit on your reciever...enough to spend $$ on a Hsu Labs VTF-3 MK II subwoofer, a BFD, a good solid reciever and a few Acoustic panels. That should make a pretty SUBstantial [:P]difference to your already excellent speakers. Next step would be more acoustics, followed by upgraded speakers. PM me on the Sub.

My thoughts exactly. Reciever/seperates first. Your speakers are already good but the amp needs to be upgraded for sure. and then your sub if you have any other money to work with.
