Hemihorn
How can this guy ship these for $75.00 http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1147701480
Daddy Dee
That price sounds about right for shipping each speaker. It would be interesting to see how the seller would respond to the question. If I had to put money on it right now, I'd say the price would be 75 x

theryugobuddy
He didn't check how much it would cost before he posted what he thought was a reasonable shipping cost-- Nice guy just sold his Cornwalls for $500, not the $600 he wants--
cide
Oh my god, I ordered a pair of RSX-5's off an ebay powerseller called audioexcellence. They came in the same relativly compact box... and within that, their own individual unopened boxes. Paid $270 USD for them, +$30 USD for shipping. They crossed the boarder to my country, Canada, and now, the total cost of shipping them has exceeded $120, Not only that, but how do they justify this? I ask because I also ordered an RCX-4 Center channel for $170 USD, $30 shipping, and the total cost to ship this is now also around $100. Does that make sense? $100 shipping on a $170US item? pierceb
cide, Yes the extra shipping costs make sense. Sellers usually quote the actual shipping cost only. These quotes do not include the costs involved with brokerage fees to get the item across the border, or GST/PST which is collected on the price of the item as it crosses the border. This is where shipping from US to Canada really adds up. Most sellers aren't familiar with the exact costs collected at our borders so they do not quote these charges. They usually refer you to the shipper if you want more detailed costing. -PB
