Moderators dtel's wife Posted June 15, 2006 Moderators Share Posted June 15, 2006 Dtel has managed to find the only lounge in Hope. Yep, that's right a real live bar room, serving booze. Not only did he find the bar, but it is right in the parking lot of our hotel. Seems you pay $5 and become an official member of "The Rowdy Moose". Yes, that's right. You even get an official membership card after filling out a couple of papers. And...each card carrying member is entitled to bring one guest each time he/she visits "The Rowdy Moose." $5 for a one yearmembership. They serve beer and mixed drinks and even have karaoke. One downfall, according to dtel it is country music and peavy speakers. Dtel says the barmaid isn't bad looking, I wouldn't know, I haven't been there yet. So, do they fit into the Klipsch bunch? It really doesn't surprise me that yall drove through 3 states and he found the only lounge in a one horse town. I am so jealous of the official membership to the Rowdy Moose. So, is anything like Bourbon street? Don't get in too much trouble, although I guess the old saying goes "What happens in Hope, stays in Hope." Or is that Vegas? I hope yall have fun!
