oldtimer
The tune thread is way past this so here's a hint: The song is People Like Us. (People like us, grow as big as a house......).
Moderators Amy Posted August 16, 2006 Moderators Share Posted August 16, 2006 Allright, Amy left this thread and the tune thread hanging so I am going for continuation. Sorry, I just get busy... plus on this one I wasn't sure I was right []
Audible Nectar
The tune thread is way past this so here's a hint: The song is People Like Us. (People like us, grow as big as a house......). That would be "True Stories". Be sure to check out the Talking Heads release of the same title - a good addition to your music collection as well. RichardP
[2) (sung) - "Lawrence of Arabia..........he was an English guy...."] I think I heard that line sometime in the past two days when "Hollywood Knights" was playing repeatedly on Speedvision. Funny movie, with several stars-to-be.

Funny movie, with several stars-to-be. Bingo[] Newbomb Turk is one of my favorite cinema characters of all time. That role will follow Robert Wuhl forever. No matter when I see him elsewhere, I always see him as "Newbomb". And those cops are a hoot! So no takers on #1?? I thought that was the easy one. So another line from the same flick: "I only know three chords"

RichardP
Wow, 22 pages & 18 days with no responses to this thread. Have we run out of lines or answers? There are several unanswered, but I can't identify them. I will add an easy one to get this started again: "That's a lovely accent...New Jersey?" "Austria." "Oh, Austria! Well, good-day mate!"
