rplace
The best part is no nasty home stain job. Still raw! Some light sanding and they would look all new and Bbirch-y again.
Corvette6769
Too bad they have had the woofers replaced and have no risers.
Guest " "
risers are an optional item and do not come with hersey's.
colterphoto1
Steve, what's the problem with the woofer's? How can you tell that they've been replaced- the 'R' designation? Indy might be interested in these. He has one pair of nekkid Birch H's. I'll call his attention to these. M
wuzzzer
R means its a Replacement woofer.
SilverSport
...however they may have been replaced prior to leaving Hope...my Birch Raw Heresys have a tweeter marked with the red/purple R and they came that way from the factory in 1978... Corvette6769
Michael, The round magnet K-22-R was the over-the-counter service replacement driver (R = Replacement) and did not exist yet in 1981. If you check the date code on the K-22-R driver you will notice that they were produced long after these cabinets were. These cabinets would have had the square magnet K-22-E originally. Bill, Often I have seen circles with "H" stamped in red ink, that people might mistake for a letter R.
SilverSport
Corvette...very interesting...I did not see these particular "R" on the driver...much different than mine...thanks for the knowledge!
fini
Bill, Great picture! Don't worry, they're not replacements. They're rejects. []
