Does anyone work in Tech support @ Klipsch?

So, I'm trying to get warranty help on my ProMedia 2.1's and over the

past 3 weeks I've emailed tech support both using their email address,

support@klipsch.com and their online form -- I've done the 3 times and

haven't received any type of response. I understand they might be busy

so I didn't expect an answer right away but 3 weeks and I've heard

nothing is a little ridiculous.

Here's my problem, I was

relocating my computer along with the speakers and subwoofer to another

room. I went to disconnect the cable that goes from one of the speakers

to the Preamp input on the subwoofer. When I pulled the cable out the

metal end of the connector seperated from the plastic housing leaving

the metal part of the connector still in the preamp input socket. I had

to actually get some pliars to remove it from the preamp input socket.

I took a picture of what I'm talking about....

I

thought maybe I could just get a replacement cable but it seems the

other end of this cable is attached internally of the speaker. I'm

posting this so maybe someone that works in tech support will see this

or if someone here can help me get in touch with Klipsch I would

greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about this and that there was no response. Klipsch is a responsible organization as far as I can tell.

One thing is that there is a section of the forum farther below on the forum menu which is devoted to Pro Media. We here are the home hi-fi gang. Big speakers and not Pro Media.

On the other hand, Amy Unger is the Klipsch rep who generally monitors the forums, and I believe all subsets. I'm a bit surprized she did not pick up on your post.

Perhaps with your bump, a factory rep will address your inquiry.

However, let me suggest that you repost in the Pro Media section. It may get faster attention.

Hi Setzer,

I ususally pick up on threads fairly quickly, but you caught me over the weekend [:)]

I apologize for the lack of response--that isn't typical of the department at all. Could you please forward me your original email, and I'll try to find out what happened?

The part you need is the 2.1 control pod (it sits underneath the "main" speaker--if you push on yours backwards, it will slide out).

Unfortunately, we are out of these temporarily. Please call us at 888-554-5665 to find out when they will be available, and place an order in advance.

Thank you!
