sunburnwilly
"The Changeling" has to be one of the best ghost films ever. George C. Scott is excellent in this film. No flying beds, no projectile pea soup vomit, and no other cheap shocks or FX - just a great story line with very subtle yet chilling events. Supposedly based on actual occurances in a home in Denver. Gives you a good case of the willies. And what would be a bad case ? And just for your information ie is feminine . It should be Willys' I think ............
sputnik
And just for your information ie is feminine . It should be Willys' I think ............ I'm pretty sure the "willies," as in a feeling of uneasiness or "the creeps," is spelled with an ie. As far as the name goes, there's Willie Mays, Willie Sutton, Willie Stargell, Willie McCovey, Willie Parker, Boxcar Willie, Willie Nelson, and Willie the Groundskeeper (tell him that he's feminine), then there's Willy Wonka and Wee Willy Winky. You decide about the name, but still check out "The Changeling."

Groomlakearea51
For fun the "Blob" does well!! Then send the kids to bed and watch Species.... All time favorites are: Alien for "bad things in the dark", The Keep for plain old "good vs evil", and Dark Blue Sea for an interesting take on very smart sharks. Moderators Amy Posted October 8, 2007 Moderators Share Posted October 8, 2007 I just watched Roman Polanski's Repulsion (1965) Saturday night. It had me jumping out of my skin more than once. Well done, definitely NOT for kids.
seti
This is one of the greatest horror films of all time. Island Of Lost Souls 1932 H.G. Wells - Original Novel An obsessed scientist conducts profane experiments in evolution, eventually establishing himself as the self-styled demigod to a race ofmutated, half-human abominations. Despite the more graphic frightmovies of recent vintage--including at least two remakes of thistitle--this film retains its ability to horrify even the mostdiscriminating of fans, and remains possibly the greatest and mostshattering monster movie ever made, with perhaps the finest careerperformance from an almost-unrecognizable Bela Lugosi. Cast Charles Laughton - Dr. MoreauRichard Arlen - Edward ParkerLeila Hyams - Ruth ThomasKathleeen Burke - Panther WomanBela Lugosi - Sayer of the LawArthur Hohl - Montgomery

I've got Rosemary's Baby and House on Haunted Hill (Vincent Price) coming in the mail... [Y]
