RTTR
There are still a few new sets of RB-75's floating around the internet for $900, would it be a worth while upgrade to get them if I already own F-3s?
el jopez
I first owned a pair of RF 35's, and then bought some RB 75's a while ago. Though slightly sharp in the highs (I think I have hearing loss now) the clarity and detail present knocked the RF 35's down easily. Think of a midget sucker punching Arnold Schwarzenegger and getting away with all the while giggling uncontrollably. They are amazing. The 75's dont have the lower punch floor standers can produce, but they can reach some pretty good low octaves on their own, I was impressed. For any serious two channel with the RB 75's you might need a sub for bass. Other forum members in the past have made the same suggestion in the past. If Im not mistaken one of the members here described how he demoed the RB 75s vs. the RF 7s and heard no real difference so he bought the RB 75s and bought a sub to compliment them. Food for thought.
