Mike Lindsey
http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?spkrfull&1170617280 I know they were re-veneered, but they also appear to be thicker than my 3/4" plywood boxes. Something just doesn't look right to them. Mike
NOSValves
Pictures can be deceiving in many ways. I think they look like they are advertised. The grain of the veneer will make the wood thinker then it appears. Factor that is with the veneer actually making the wood slightly thicker and there you go. They look like a great deal to me. I may have that done to my 94 Lascalas some day it looks great! Craig

joessportster
looks like the person that did the veneer job trimmed the front to look like 1" wood, but a close look at the rear and you can see the ply is 3/4" Joe
Islander
My "visual ruler" suggests that the top strip of veneer is 1-inch, while the other front strips are 7/8-inch. If the veneer is 1/8-inch thick, plus the 3/4-inch plywood, that would add up. They do look pretty good. Pat on the Island
