skonopa
Believe it or not, this long-haired heavy metal headbanger served 6 years in the US Army - from 1988 to 1994. Served in the field artillery as a cannon fire direction specialist working in the FDC. Now-a-days, working as a civilian contractor writing software for the US Navy Aegis program, so I kinda still serve in a round-about sorta way: That picture is a few years old (check out that mullet that I had then! jt1stcav
I don't think there are too many active duty members presently, but we haven't heard from Andy Barr yet (our very own HDBRbuilder)...let's not forget his great contribution (and great personal sacrifice) to remain there in harm's way when he's had opportunities to come home for good! Andy's truely a devoted American who believes in the mission at hand (no matter what our opinions are on the subject) and is performing his duty in a professional and dignified manner. For that, he deserves our most sincerest thanks, and our prayers. God bless you, Andy, wherever you are![A]
