Moderators Amy Posted February 19, 2001 Moderators Share Posted February 19, 2001 Switch the green and purple plug in the soundcard...does the hiss now come from the front speakers? Do you have a headset you can plug into the rear channel of the soundcard to listen for hiss? Make sure you have all your volume controls that you're not listening to muted (esp Mic and CD Audio). ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com 888-554-5665

Moderators Amy Posted February 19, 2001 Moderators Share Posted February 19, 2001 Please clarify... Do you mean that when you switch the plugs in the soundcard, the hiss comes from the same speakers as before you switched them?

Moderators Amy Posted February 20, 2001 Moderators Share Posted February 20, 2001 If you move the rear satellites to the front, does the hiss follow them? If not, it's likely a problem with the subwoofer. Contact me directly about return options. ------------------ Amy ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com 888-554-5665

Moderators Amy Posted February 20, 2001 Moderators Share Posted February 20, 2001 If that doesn't help, then the problem could be in your subwoofer. Let me know! --Amy
