texas42
This has a $429.00 mod from Craig at NOSValves last summer (receipt available) and a custom golden oak top fit cabinet I purchased separately. This amp sings with Klipsch Heritage speakers and I used them with my LaScalas with great success. Amp is not currently in use as I'm using a far more expensive separate tube amp/preamp combo. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Guest " "
How many watts is this unit? Is this a Class A tube amp or does it operate in class AB?
NOSValves
David, That first picture thru me off! That is before I rebuilt the amp correct? I kept looking at those power supply cans and thinking man I didn't leave those in that amp! Just so folks know 3 of those above chassis cans have been replaced with JJ Telsa black clamp mounts. Fritz, Heck no its not class A in fact relatively few PP tube amps are true class A from today, yesterday or next year. Your kind of hung up on specs aren't you? This amp will floor most others with Klipsch speakers no matter what class of operation within and beyond its price range. It's all about being musical! ChrisK
I have the same model (also expertly refurb'd by Captain Grumpy) with same cabinet (slightly lighter stain) in my 2nd system. At the asking price, it's a GREAT deal! Everytime I futz with my MC-225's and put the Scott back in the main system, it sounds so good that I wonder why I spent all the money for my separates. Craig, You are correct, I forgot how long ago I took that pic and that was before your remod. Below is the correct (current) look...Thanks for the headsup. And you are quite correct, this is a great amp for Klipsch speakers. Dave

I still get viagra'd when I think of the pictures I saw here of the job you did on Allan's C-22. That's the prettiest picture of stereo innards I've ever seen! And if Allan gives it his stamp of approval, that's sayin' sump'n. Regards, Chris PS What ever happened to Kelly? Did his OCD get the best of him? kidding.....
