Guest " " Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Can I recommend, if you aren't already planning to do so, cleaning off the excess flux paste from the bottom of the board. The paste, over time, will act on the etched circut traces. I use windex and a small dense tooth brush, cleaning the brush frequently on paper towels, others may have other ideas. I left it running for a little bit but after a half and hour I blew a Cap on the power supply, so these will be going to Craig. I'm an electrician, not a electronic guru.
