NOSValves
Joe Satriani for sure......... Who's that? Some left coast freak turned me onto him! Give it a whirl some time []
djost
Check out Andy Timmons <http://www.andytimmons.com>. If you like Eric Johnson, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani you will LOVE Andy Timmons. All four currently record for Steve Vai label - Favored Nations. I think Andy is the best of the lot <http://www.favorednations.com/artists/at/at.html>. His "EarX-Tacy" CD is the one I would start out with <http://andytimmons.com/music-ear-x-tacy.php>.

jtnfoley
Yngwie Malmsteen I'll second that... I spotted his name here in another thread and eBay'd a new shrink-wrapped copy (Polydor, Germany (not that region matters on CD)) of Rising Force and was absolutely blown away. For my time and genre, I was amazed I'd not heard of him before (Rising Force: 1984: I was age 11.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yngwie_Malmsteen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rising_Force

Joe Walsh, "So What" Great recorded rock guitar, both acoustic and electric. Freddie King, "The Ultimate Collection" The great Jeff Healey, "Cover to Cover"
