Professor Thump
Indy is correct... I have them at 90 degrees L/R and I like them. But I have to admit I have RS-62 also because they use a bigger woofer. They both are good speaker.
Brac
how well do they seem to mix with Heritage stuff?

DrWho
how well do they seem to mix with Heritage stuff? Timbre wise the newest Reference and the Ultra2 lineup seem to mate really well with heritage. I think the only concern would be whether or not they can keep up with the SPL of the heritage (which I think might be where professor thump is going with his question). Many people have good results with the Heresy for surrounds, but I think the dipoles sound better in smaller rooms (where their output isn't a concern). In larger rooms, mounting the Heresy properly for surround duty is often not very obtrusive (since the rooms tend to have higher ceilings too). I'd say the closest you want to be for a Heresy is about 8 feet or so.
boomac
We have a 5.1 system with 3 Cornwalls up front and the THX 525s as surrounds. In our 14’ X 22’ room they function extremely well. I really think you need at least 16’ or maybe even 18’ of width to benefit from a pair of Heresys or Cornwalls. Even then, it would depend on your seating arrangement.
