maxg
Good choice Timm, We've had a Tivoli for ages now - not the clock radio sadly - it came out after i bought mine. Their range has grown enormously - when I bought mine there was only one unit in different woods. now they have stereo versions, CD players and even a subwoofer. Prices are not all that appealing though - they seem to be getting awfully close to proper stereos and whilst the sound is good for a radio it aint that good. Timmikid
Wow Max, you are so right. I didn't really check the European prices!!! I picked it up yesterday and was rather shocked at the final price. "Isn't that for the glossy piano paint version?, I protested." "No that one is another €100,- more." $200,- in US and €300,- in Europe. With the recent conversion I call that theft! [:@] I guess I will smuggle the stereo set + sub with me next visit to the States. [6] I want those for my VW T2 camper from 1977. (Or any other suggestions for small camper stereo?) Greets, Tim. boomac
I was going to give myself the Rega Apollo but nobody as even noticed it so I'm really thinkin' about a vinyl cleaning machine!
garymd
I was going to give myself the Rega Apollo but nobody as even noticed it so I'm really thinkin' about a vinyl cleaning machine! Nice! Ain't it great when you get a freebie like that? I guarantee she will notice the VPI. The thing is as loud as a vacuum cleaner.......well, that's sort of what it is. Go for it but don't get the VPI extras. Buy your brushes and fluid from the discdoctor or you can mix it yourself (I'm too lazy). http://www.discdoc.com/
Mighty Favog
Sometime in late January I'll be ordering a McIntosh C46. Could do it now but I would rather have ALL the money on hand before I do it.
