Moderators Amy Posted December 14, 2007 Moderators Share Posted December 14, 2007 This was in my blog a few days ago, but here's the Klipsch engineering "tree." It's hard to see, but that's a GMX satellite dressed as an angel for the topper

oldtimer
Jb, that has got to be one expensive Christmas tree.... Yes, on the surface. But you have to consider what economists might paraphrase as "bpd" aka "buzz per dollar!"

peshewah
My wife and boy set up our tree. It is so bright it is blinding. I can't see the ornaments. When my family is gone I unplug the liights so I can see the TV. Gotta love love it.
oscarsear
These days the tree is kept small and manageable. Was a time though that 15 footers got decorated to the nines. Had a 30 foot ceiling in the living room (great with Khorns) and it was a 3 day chore to decorate. Every year after Christmas we'd shop for sale ornaments for the next year. I'd suspend a paper mache angel from the ceiling just above the tree top for extra affect, 15,000 plus lights was not at all uncommon. Sorry no pics. You'll just have to accept my word for it. This years tree is 3 feet tall and that's fine by me.
Moderators dtel Posted December 15, 2007 Moderators Share Posted December 15, 2007 Jb, those bottles must be full, there is no way you could have walked or stacked them after emptying them, even in a couple days. If that were down down here "redneck" it would have been a different brand, and cans ! [:$]
