Guest David H
19.5w x 19.5d x 31t including the stands. W.A.F. is quite good at this size.

michael hurd
Interesting..... someone else on here built a set of scaled down K-horns or was it Belles.... now I can't recall. In any manner, those are pretty cute!

klipschaholik
Nice work, looks like cherry. How did you come up with your dimensions? [D]

In any manner, those are pretty cute! Greg built some scaled down Khorns and there is a horn site that has DIY plans for a LaScala scaled down to use 10" drivers. Guest David H
I got the dimentions from a freinds Lascala, when I have the project completed I am going to set them side by side for photos. I chose 80% because the 12" woofer in the Heresy is 20% smaller than the 15" in the Lascala. The skin I chose is cherry. Thanks for all the comments. I would liike to see the scaled down KHorns. Islander
Those are pretty cute! Hope they sound as good as they look.
Guest David H
Here is a picture of the finished product, I used linseed oil for the finish. As for the sound, I am going to have to massage the crosover a little more. As I said in a previous post the box gain is more than expected, I may have to L pad the woofer, I have already attampted to attenuate the top end using the taps on the autoformer and just cant get the sound I am looking for. Guest " "
They look great. Let us know if we can help figure out the sound balance issue. Do you have ramps at the woofer throat?
klipschaholik
Nice work! Get these tuned in and you should enjoy them; nice WAF too. [D]
Marvel
Greg built some scaled down Khorns and there is a horn site that has DIY plans for a LaScala scaled down to use 10" drivers. Erik Forker's site for the 10" version is great. These will almost surely need a sub to go with them... but the again... you may like them tis way. A way cool build. I like 'em. Erik has a bunch of Bruce Edgar stuff on his downloads page. Bruce
jwc
Gothover. I love your project. nice. I hope you don't mind me asking questions. This is not to be critical but an understanding of this "reduced" size bass horn. What is the volume of the woofer chamber? What model number Heresy woofer are you using? What is the area of the slot and dimensions? What is the length of the horn? IOW...ruffly......the length from the middle of the slot...to the back turn.....then to the exit/"mouth" of the horn? Please give us an update on what you do to the Type E network to make all the drivers match in SPL. jc
