oldtimer
My family has a Thanksgiving tradition that I strongly suggest that you try. Before baking the turkey, we put 10 strips of bacon top. Yum. Try roasting the turkey it will taste better.

tigerwoodKhorns
I remember reading about a bar in Chicago that is an attorney hangout that serves baskets of bacon at happy hour. I just picture a bunch of 30 year old attorneys that gain 40 lbs in one summer and all have heart attacks from the stress and bacon. Not a health lifestyle at all. Daddy Dee
In the Snook, TX steakhouse video, I noticed that few of the customers looked like they had been to the gym lately.

BigStewMan
on a recent cruise, they had English Bacon--very good; but, I would have just called it a round piece of ham. suddenly a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich is sounding real tasty...oh wait, the tomatoes are tainted (at least out west) don't watch the news much so i don't know how widespread the salmonella outbreak is. went to a hot dog place for lunch today, they had a sign up saying that they were no longer serving tomatoes until the outbreak is over. seti
http://www.neatorama.com/2008/06/23/bacon-chocolate-chip-cookie/ BACON CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE! Here’s a little cooking secret for ya: everything’s better with bacon. Everything. Including chocolate chip cookies! Ooh, You Tasty Little Things blog has the recipe on how to make yourown bacon chocolate chip cookies with maple cinnamon glaze. How tode-clog your arteries guide not included. Sure, that was a good salad, but it would have been so much better with bacon. That was a delicious baked potato.. I wish it had some bacon on it. You know what was missing from breakfast this morning?- bacon. I think we’ve come up with so many foods which bacon can enhance, that we really were wondering what foods it wouldn’t. [...] Then we started talking about what bacon has successfully been added to, and the thought of the maple bacon bar donut at Voodoo donut back home, and Vosages bacon chocolate bar made me wonder.. Could I make a cookie with bacon? How about a chocolate chip cookie? My husband cringed. He asked me to make a small batch, just in case. He’s a big fan of standard chocolate chip cookies, so to see a whole batch go to waste if the bacon addition didn’t work, I think it might have made him cry. But I had to do it. The bacon and chocolate chip cookie had to be made.
