ajcllc
Does anyone have one of these? I just purchased one from a guy for $90 with a Grado cartridge, and this thing sounds really good! This has to be one of the best bargains pieces I have come across as of yet!
nu2toobs
My first "real" turntable was a hand-me-down AR XA in 1973.
fenderbender
Thats a great price!!1 Vinyl nirvana cleans them up and they usually go for $600-$900 depending on arm and Cart...they are a great source for upgrades as well.
bliss53
I second the vinyl nirvana recommendation. Dave is a great guy to deal with and he has Cornwalls. He helped me out tremendously with my tables. See my AR ES1 pic.
oldbuckster
The only Turntable I ever bragged about owning was an Acoustic Research Manual .......... Loved it, made the best sounding reel to reel tapes, just music, NO RUMBLE what so ever .............. used a Stanton cartridge. The guy I bought my Cornwalls from had a Turntable just like that picture .... ah yes, made me think about vinyl for a minute, then I came to my senses again ......... very nice indeed !!!!!!!!!!
